About This Service

The goal of each session is to create an enjoyable and productive environment where you feel comfortable, confident and well taken care of. My studio is a "stress-free" zone! I have found that a more laid back and fun environment results in better captures of your essence and personality; the real you!

What is a "Session Fee?"

The "Session Fee" represents the photographer's charge for the initial shoot, typically focused on portraits or headshots. This fee encompasses the actual service of capturing images, incorporating creative efforts, time dedicated to photographing you, and collaborative efforts to attain your desired photos, regardless of eventual print or digital file purchases. Its fundamental objective is to ascertain the commitment of clients to acquiring photos by the conclusion of the photo session.Sessions range from 20 minutes up to 60 minutes in duration. We prioritize a relaxed and "stress free" approach to your photoshoot and are more than willing to extend your session as necessary to accommodate wardrobe changes and other aspects of your shoot. During the sessions, we capture images tethered to a computer, facilitating real-time review and flagging of select photos. This immediate feedback empowers us to make on-the-fly adjustments, ensuring we achieve the desired perfect look.

Selected Headshot Photos for Gallery

These flagged images (narrowed to 10 images) will be uploaded to a private online gallery and shared with you via a provided link. Digital images may be purchased on an "a la carte" per image basis at a cost of $125 per image. The Session Fee includes $250 in image credits which may be applied towards purchasing images (equivalent to 2 free images). An option to purchase the entire online gallery of images is available for $600. That's just an additional $350 if the image credits are applied toward this option. Access to a professional print lab to order prints is available as well.

Portrait & Portfolio Sessions

Portrait Sessions include 3/4 and full body length shots. These are suitable for Actors, Musicians, Models and general Portfolio image updates. These Portfolio shoots often include more creative and dramatic lighting, props and setups. (additional light modifiers, colored gels, floor and backdrops, fog etc.) Sessions typically run up to 2 hours.

A: After the session, we'll review the photos together, and I'll make any necessary adjustments. You'll then receive the high-resolution, professionally edited images, ready for use on your website, social media, or professional profiles.

A: Choosing the right attire for a headshot photo shoot is pivotal in shaping the intended image and purpose of the photographs. Consider the following general tips to ensure you're dressed for success:

To maintain a timeless appeal, opt for classic clothing that won't appear dated over time, favoring solid colors and simple patterns. Tailor your wardrobe choice to the specific purpose of the headshot; for professional or corporate settings, lean towards more formal attire, while creative or artistic fields offer greater flexibility.

Solid colors, especially neutral tones like black, white, gray, and navy, are excellent choices as they draw attention to your face. However, don't shy away from incorporating colors that complement your complexion, steering clear of overly bright or distracting hues. For second or third looks, patterns and bolder colors can be fun and add another dimension as well.

Select clothing that not only flatters your body shape but also complements your features, emphasizing a well-fitted appearance. Proper fit is key! Q: What type of retouching is included for an edited image?

A: Retouching includes: color correction, skin imperfections, eyes, shadows, facial lines, teeth, dodging and burning, skin smoothing, background cleanup, clothing wrinkles, hair fly-aways. More advanced work may incur an additonal charge TBD.
